Stainless Steel Idler Roller
Our stainless steel idler rollers are designed for conveyor systems, available in outer diameters from 12mm to 100mm, with adjustable lengths from 15mm to 1000mm. They match standard bearings (603/604/6003/6204/6301 etc.) and inner diameters from 3mm to 50mm. Made of 304/316 stainless steel, they feature corrosion resistance, high hygiene, easy cleaning, and smooth rotation. Ideal for food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, logistics, and marine industries. Custom sizes are available.

Common Materials Of Bearings
High-carbon chromium bearing steel
Most common bearing material—high hardness, wear and fatigue resistance. Used in motors, cars, and machine tools.
Stainless steel
Corrosion-resistant; ideal for food, medical, or marine applications. 440C for high hardness, 316 for better chemical resistance.
Ceramic materials
Lightweight, heat- and wear-resistant, non-magnetic. Used in aerospace and high-speed precision equipment.

Our idler pulleys are manufactured from 304 or 316 stainless steel, providing excellent rust resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life. 316 grade is recommended for marine, food or harsh chemical environments.
An idler pulley is a non-driven wheel used for belt guiding, tensioning, direction changing and support. A driving pulley is powered by a motor or gearbox to transmit force. They are not interchangeable in design.
Load capacity depends on outer diameter, bearing type and structure. Please refer to our specification sheet for rated load. Overloading will cause deformation, bearing failure or premature wear.
Yes, all pulleys are pre-assembled with high-precision ball bearings for smooth rotation and low noise. Custom bearing sizes, double bearings or extended bearing housings are available.

Standard finish is precision machined with fine polishing. We also offer brushed finish, mirror polishing and passivation upon request to avoid belt damage.

The pulley is mounted on a shaft with retaining rings or fasteners. As an idler, it is usually installed on an adjustable bracket to easily set and maintain proper belt tension.
